 Welcome to Green Dining!
Are you concerned about our environment? Do you want to make a positive environmental impact in your local community and also on a broader scale?
We do too! At Green Dining, we collect Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) from hundreds of restaurants and resorts in Arizona for the purpose of producing renewable fuel. Partnered with the oldest and largest biodiesel producer in Arizona, Amereco Biofuels ( www.amereco.biz) converts our WVO into environmentally friendly, clean burning biodiesel fuel. The byproducts of this biodiesel production are used to create environmentally friendly, non-toxic cleaning products and products that naturally clean waste water. As a result, the WVO that would normally end up in a landfill or used for other commercial purposes is being used to clean our air every day.
As a restaurant, you can participate in the Green Dining program free of charge! As a Dining Patron, you can support any one of our member restaurants, knowing that they are committed to working with us to make a positive difference in our environment!
At Green Dining, our motto is RECYCLE, REBUILD, RENEW. Our members RECYCLE their WVO so that we can REBUILD our damaged atmosphere and ultimately RENEW our planet!

Supporting local restaurants that are part of the Green Dining Network program helps positively impact our environment right here at home. These benefits are immediate and significant. For every 1,000,000 gallons of biodiesel produced and used, it saves about 12,000 tons of pollutants -- or about 1,200 dump truck loads -- from entering our atmosphere when compared to standard diesel fuel.
